X-MET8000 helps the Ningbo Museum restore and verify artifacts

The national Ningbo Museum in China exhibits the works of “Neo-Ruralism” by Wang Shu. The collection includes more than 70,000 cultural artefacts from the prehistoric Hemudu Culture to modern precious bronze, jade, gold and silver wares, porcelains, bamboo carvings, calligraphy, paintings and folk art. The museum recently purchased Hitachi High-Tech’s handheld X-MET8000 Expert Geo X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) analyser to help with the restoration of these valuable cultural artefacts and anti-counterfeit protection.
